Cookies Policy

A cookie is a small file stored on your device that helps a website work, or helps a site owner understand how it's used. Here's exactly what this site sets, and why. By using this site, you agree to the essential cookies and the live ClubSpark data described below. Analytics cookies are only used if you choose "Accept analytics".

Essential cookies (always on)

These are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off. They don't identify you personally.

• mh-cookie-consent: remembers whether you've accepted or declined analytics cookies, so we don't ask you every visit. (Stored in your browser's local storage rather than as a cookie.)
• mh_resume: a session cookie that remembers where you were on each page and a few choices (open answers, your session finder picks), so a refresh picks up where you left off. It never contains personal details, is only ever sent back to this site, and is deleted when you close your browser.
• Contact form draft: while you type a message, it's kept in this browser tab's session storage so a refresh doesn't lose it. It never leaves your device unless you press Send, and it's cleared when the message sends or you close the tab.
• mh-minigame-best: your best score in the footer mini game, kept in your browser's local storage. Nothing else is recorded.

Live session data from ClubSpark (always on)

Session times, prices and spaces come from the LTA's ClubSpark platform, where MH Tennis bookings are managed. A copy is pre-loaded into the site when it's published, so the timetable shows straight away. When you view a page with sessions on it, your browser also asks ClubSpark directly for the latest times and spaces.

That request doesn't send or set any cookies, and doesn't include anything you've typed. As with any request to another website, ClubSpark receives your device's IP address and basic browser details so it can reply. This is part of how the site works, so it runs whichever cookie option you choose.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

If you click "Accept analytics", we load Google Analytics (GA4), which sets cookies such as _ga and _gid to help us understand, anonymously, how visitors use the site, for example which pages are popular. These are never set until you accept them, and you can withdraw consent at any time using the button above, which also clears any analytics cookies already set.

Third-party embeds

The Socials page embeds our Instagram feed. Instagram (Meta) may set its own cookies when that embed loads, governed by Instagram's own policy. When you choose Book, you move to ClubSpark (or Coordinate Sport for holiday camps), which sets its own cookies under the LTA's own cookie policy, not ours.
