Privacy Policy

MH Tennis ("we", "us", "our") provides tennis coaching, holiday camps and related sessions across south Birmingham. This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what rights you have over it. The data controller is Matthew Hillman, trading as MH Tennis.

What we collect

We collect personal data in the following ways:

• Contact form: when you submit an enquiry on the Contact page, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if given), subject and message. Submissions are received and stored securely by our website host, Netlify, and passed on to us by email.
• Direct contact: if you email Matt@MHTennis.co.uk or call 07503747433 directly, we hold whatever information you choose to share with us.
• Cookies and analytics: if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects anonymised usage data about how you use this site. See our Cookies policy for full details. No analytics data is collected unless you accept it.
• Nearest court finder: if you enter a postcode on the Contact page, it is sent to postcodes.io, a free UK postcode lookup service, to find its location. We never store it, and it is not sent to us.

We do not collect payment details through this website. Session bookings and payments are handled through the LTA's ClubSpark platform, which has its own separate privacy policy.

Children's data

Many of our sessions are for children. Where an enquiry or booking relates to a child, the personal data is submitted by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the accuracy of the information given. We only use a child's details to plan and deliver coaching safely.

Why we use your data

• To respond to enquiries sent through the contact form or directly.
• To plan, run and communicate about coaching sessions, camps and events.
• To understand how our website is used, if you have accepted analytics cookies, so we can improve it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking-related data for as long as is reasonably needed to respond to you and maintain our coaching records, and not for longer than that, unless we're required to keep it longer by law.

Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with service providers who help us run this website and our coaching business (for example, our website host and email provider), who only process it on our instructions. Booking and payment data is held by the LTA's ClubSpark platform, not by us.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and can object to or restrict certain uses of it. To make a request, contact Matt@MHTennis.co.uk. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
